Now that he can sit well unsupported I don't have to use the car seat with the stroller. He loves being able to face forward and look around.
Chance was especially excited on our stroll today and "talked" most of the time.
I love our neighborhood because there are sidewalks everywhere, lots of parks, shops, etc. We were out and about for a couple of hours today and it was so nice! I even stopped by the grocery store to pick up part of our dinner tonight. It is great to be able to walk everywhere... post office, bank, grocery, especially on gorgeous days like today.
Usually Chance will nap in his stroller without any problem. I can lean the seat back where he's almost laying down so it works great. Today was a different story.... I think he was so keyed up from our long walk that he just didn't want to sleep. He was playing, laughing, and looking at all the people around, but I knew he was getting tired. It was also pretty bright out today so I think that also made it difficult for him. Anyway, I thought if I took him out of the stroller and calmed him down a little that I could lay him back down so he could sleep and I could finish my walk to the store. WRONG! :) The second I put him in the stroller he cried and cried. Thankfully I knew there was a bench on the sidewalk close to where we were. We walked over and I got situated where he was out of the sun. Chance has napped many different places... crib, swing, car seat... but park bench in our neighborhood has to be the most unconventional nap spot so far! He got a quick nap in and we were on our way.
I am so thankful for the mild winter and the nice warm weather we have had lately. Chance and I love being outside and are looking forward to spring!
